Cold Rain and Snow |
I'm looking for a copy of this song (Cold Rain & Snow) ... a high quality copy is somewhere; I've heard it. The version I'm searching for was taped at a Merlefest, and the lead singer was Peter Rowan. There was a near perfect male tenor harmony singer accompanying Rowan. My source told me that it was taped at 2 or 3 in the morning during a live performance on one of the stages at the festival. If you can assist me with locating this, I will very happy to know it exists so I can hear it again. Please help.

I'm not sure of the year, but Merlefest is always the last week of April during final exams. I will post more information as I continue to collect leads. I'm hoping that including the time of the performance is helpful. As the person who played the song for me said, "Now imagine watching these guys -- they're still playing strong, and it's about 2 or 3 AM."

Yes, I am aware of the easy to find versions. I'm digging deeper, for the copy a "taper" made at this concert.

No, I regret that it is not the one. When I heard the version that I am looking for, I recall a male high tenor harmony accompanying Rowan. Thank you trying to help me locate this.
